What is Color Temperature?
Light color is measured on a temperature scale, known as Kelvins (K).
High Kelvin temperatures, ranging from 6000 K to 6500 K, produce white color light. White color lights are cool color and give daylight effect. These lights appear bluish-white as Kelvin temperature increases.
Mid-Range Kelvin temperatures, ranging from 4000 K to 4500 K, produce a mix of white and yellow lights. These lights give a natural white effect.
Low Kelvin temperatures, ranging from 2700 K to 3200 K, produce yellow color light. Yellow color lights give a warm-glow effect and are also known as warm-white lights.

Different applications require different color lights. Specific tasks require certain type of lighting for best results. Use the guide below to find the best color temperature for your application:
Cool White: Best used in areas where clear bright white light is needed. Recommend for display areas in shops, garages/warehouses, hospitals, offices and commercial buildings, security lighting and other outdoor lighting applications.
Natural White: Provides natural, bright and inviting light to any room. Used in cafeterias, lobby areas, general offices, or at home for living areas, bedroom, kitchens and bathrooms.
Warm White: Used in yellowish warm-glow light is needed. Used for ornamental or decorative lighting such as in jewelry showrooms, cabinets or showcases. Warm white color lights have pleasant and cozy effect and are also used in hospitality sectors, and in home bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms.
